The Emmaus Zurich committee of friends is made up of volunteers who do traditional Emmaus community work: collecting, sorting, repairing and reselling second-hand goods at low prices. To diversify its income, the group hires out its premises to other organisations or businesses for events. The Emmaus Zurich committee of friends uses its income from these activities to fund projects through local organisations in India, Vietnam and Thailand.
