Adios, compañero Jorge

It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the sudden death of Jorge Ambiado who was involved in the Emmaus movement in Uruguay for many years and who had been a member of the board of Emmaus International since 2012.

Civil Society Organisations Calling upon the Government to Radically Change its Migration Policy

15th June 2017 - The Minister of the Interior has outlined some initial intentions on migration policy and we deplore the absence in these comments of the need to put an end to police violence against migrants and refugees. In addition, nothing was mentioned about ending the intimidation of citizens and associations who work in the field, offering welcome and solidarity to migrant people.

Michel Frédérico, walking across France to defend Article 13

Michel Frédérico is a companion and librarian at the Emmaus community in Pamiers, in the South of France. On 22 January 2017 he arrived in Paris, completing a 900km walk across France to defend Article 13.
